Coastal Jacket Light

The Coastal Jacket Light is a lightweight waterproof dog jacket designed for rainy, windy and changeable weather without the bulk of a heavily insulated coat.

It combines a 3-layer laminated technical outer shell with a smooth graphene-coated polyester lining, creating a lightweight and comfortable construction for everyday outdoor use.

With multiple adjustment points, secure rear leg straps and waterproof zipped access for a harness or collar, the Coastal Jacket Light is designed to stay comfortably in position while allowing your dog to move naturally.

Lightweight waterproof protection

The technical 3-layer outer shell is designed to provide protection from rain and wind while keeping the jacket lightweight and flexible.

Unlike a heavily padded winter coat, the Coastal Jacket Light has an unpadded construction, making it suitable for dogs who need weather protection without unnecessary bulk.

The inside is finished with a smooth graphene-coated polyester lining.

Adjustable for a comfortable, secure fit

The jacket has two adjustment points around the neck, allowing the fit to be refined to your dog’s individual shape.

A separate rear length adjustment allows the back of the jacket to be drawn in for a closer and more secure fit.

The shaped underbody panel provides coverage across the chest and sternum and secures over the back with an adjustable clip fastening.

Elastic rear leg straps can be placed around the dog’s hind legs to help keep the jacket securely in position during movement and in windy weather.

Harness and collar access

A dedicated opening on the back provides access for attaching a lead to a harness or collar worn underneath the jacket.

The opening is neatly finished with a waterproof zip, helping maintain weather protection when the access point is not in use.

Reflective details

Reflective piping and The Dog’s Business logo help increase visibility when illuminated by headlights, torches or other light sources during darker walks.

The reflective details remain discreet during daylight while adding practical visibility in low-light conditions.

Find the right size

Measure your dog while they are standing naturally, then compare their back length, neck and chest measurements with our size guide below.

Back length: Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Neck: Measure around the base of the neck, where the jacket will sit.

Chest: Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.

The neck and chest figures are maximum circumferences. Therefore, check all three measurements before choosing your size. The jacket should fit comfortably without pulling or restricting movement.
